We design ignitd.ai so your plan content stays private and access is tightly controlled.

Here's how we protect your data:

• Your plans are stored securely: All plans are encrypted and stored in your private account. Only you (and collaborators you explicitly share with) can see them.
• We use anonymized data only: For analytics, we only track metadata like service usage, performance, and reliability. We use privacy-preserving techniques to reduce direct exposure of user content in analytics.
• AI processing controls: When AI features are used, we apply provider and platform controls intended to minimize retention and restrict secondary use.
• Human access is restricted: We do not do routine human review of your plan content. Access is limited and only used when required for security, abuse prevention, or support workflows.
• You control your data: You can delete your plans anytime, and they're removed from active systems.

Your plans are stored on secure cloud infrastructure that provides:

• Encryption at rest: All data is encrypted when stored
• Encryption in transit: All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS
• Row-level security: Each user can only access their own data
• SOC 2 compliant: Enterprise-grade security standards
• Backup and redundancy: Automatic backups protect your data

Your data is stored in secure data centers with physical and digital security measures. We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We collect only aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve the service:

• Usage metrics: How many plans created, tasks parsed, features used
• Performance data: Parse duration, success rates, error types
• Anonymized identifiers: We use privacy-preserving identifiers for analytics
• Technical metrics: Browser type, device type, app performance

We do NOT collect:

• Actual plan content or task details
• Content used for advertising targeting
• Personal identifiable information beyond your email (via Clerk)
• Location data beyond what's in server logs (IP address)

You can opt out of non-essential analytics through your browser settings or ad blockers. Essential analytics (for service functionality) cannot be disabled.

Your content is sent to AI providers: We use services from reputable AI providers to structure your plan. Your content is sent temporarily for processing.

1. Limited sharing for functionality: We only send the content needed to deliver the requested feature.
2. Secure transfer: Data is transmitted over encrypted channels.
3. Provider controls: We configure providers to reduce retention and restrict use of customer content (such as model-training restrictions) where supported.
4. Account storage: Data stored in your account follows the privacy and retention controls described in this policy.

Connecting Notion is simple and secure:

1. Start an export: When you're ready to export a plan, click the export button
2. Connect Notion: If you haven't connected yet, you'll see a "Connect Notion" button
3. Authorize access: You'll be redirected to Notion to authorize ignitd.ai
4. Select database: Choose which Notion database to export your tasks to
5. Export: Your tasks will be created as pages in your Notion database

If you can't see your Notion database, here are the most common reasons and solutions:

• Sharing permissions: Make sure the database is shared with the connected integration.
• Wrong workspace: Confirm you connected the same Notion workspace where the database lives.
• Access scope: Some private locations may have restricted visibility for integrations.

ignitd.ai maps core task information to compatible Notion fields.

• Core task fields: Task name and key task details
• Optional fields: Priority, dates, estimates, and notes when supported

Flexible compatibility: Exports adapt to your database structure so setup stays simple.

Yes. We request only the permissions needed to support the integration experience.

Access scope: Permissions are limited to integration functionality you authorize.

• Principle of least privilege: We keep integration permissions narrow.
• User-controlled access: You choose what workspace access to grant.

What you control: You can disconnect integration access at any time from Settings.

Token storage: Your Notion access token is stored securely. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations, which removes our stored token and stops future access.

Disconnecting Notion is simple:

1. Go to Settings (link in header navigation)
2. Scroll to the Integrations section
3. Click the "Disconnect" button next to Notion
4. Confirm the disconnection

What happens when you disconnect:

• Stored integration credentials are removed from your ignitd.ai account
• Future exports to Notion are disabled until you reconnect
• Previously exported items remain in your Notion workspace
• You can reconnect anytime from any export page

ignitd.ai preserves task hierarchy during export where supported by your destination setup.

• Hierarchy preserved: Parent and child relationships are maintained
• Metadata retained: Key task details are carried across where supported
